Pornchai Kliangnin was born in Phattalung in Southern Thailand

42 years ago. He learned the first techniques of fruit carving when

he was working in The Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bangkok

about 15 years ago.

For the last 10 years he is living in Leiden, Holland,

where he is working as cook in the Thai restaurant

Sabai-Sabai in Leiden.

Fruit carving and Traditional Thai dancing are two of

his hobbies, which he likes to practice and

demonstrate in his free time.
